Michael Mather sits on our Board of Directors, and has continued to support us throughout the development of our program. UGC provides all of the facilities of the golf course, and we make extensive use of the driving range and teaching facilities.  The clubhouse also welcomes us at refreshment time, perhaps the favourite part for some of our students.

Telus
Nini Baird, Chair of the Telus Vancouver Community Board recently advised us that our application for a Grant had been approved.  The letter went on to explain that at Telus they have the ability and responsibility to influence the quality of economic, social and physical life in our communities.  Through their community investment program they contribute people, resources, technology and expertise to help make the community where we live, work and serve, future friendly.  The Community Board of Telus feels that our project will have an extremely positive impact on the Vancouver Inner City program run by KIDSAFE.

The Keg Spirit Foundation
The Keg Spirit Foundation is most interested in supporting programs that directly benefit the development of children and youth. In particular, their goal is to recognize the organizations that mirror the mentorship that The Keg Steakhouse & Bar has provided to so many young people for more than thirty years.

Rotary Club of Vancouver, Arbutus Branch
The Rotary Club – Arbutus constantly assist our program to develop junior golfers and help fund specific parts of our ongoing activities.

UGC Mid-Week Men's Club
The UGC MWMC has designated us as their charity since 2007. They run a 50/50 draw at various luncheons and in addition they recommend individual members donate whenever possible. Members of this club are also members of our Volunteers Program. Our seniors golf club supports the efforts of the UGC Junior Golf Society in their efforts to give a real golf experience to kids who ordinarily would not have such an opportunity. The association with KIDSAFE, an organization that provides safe havens and interesting activities for vulnerable students in Vancouver’s East Side, is wonderful and should help kids build confidence and self esteem while at the same time expose them to a new sport.

University Tuesday Ladies Golf Club
Our Tuesday Ladies Club continues to provide funds to be used towards our ongoing program of introducing the wonderful game of golf to Vancouver's inner school kids. This year we are actively working with 24 kids from Grandview Elementary. The generous spirit the ladies have towards our program prompts us to wish each of them a lifetime of great golf at the University Golf Course.
